A.J. Hulcy was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. After College, he spent five years in Hawaii, where he met his wife Kelsey, a Californian with a heart for adventure. They moved to Texas with dreams of starting a ranch but, God had other plans. As their family grew and careers changed, God moved them back to Joshua, Tx, A.J.s hometown.
      In 2021 A.J. began serving as a deacon and teacher at NorthPointe Church, never imagining full-time ministry was on the horizon. The years 2022-2023, God brought the Hulcy family through a challenging, spiritually dark season. Yet, through Gods grace and the help of the NorthPointe family, they emerged with a renewed love for Christ. A.J. began to wrestle with the call to ministry, diving deeper into teaching and serving at NorthPointe. His passion for helping people find community in Christ and study Gods Word continued to grow.
      A.J. has since preached at several local churches, earned a Biblical Counseling Certificate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and joined the NorthPointe Pastoral Residency. The Hulcy family has wholeheartedly said “yes” to God’s call, boldly following His will. A.J. and Kelsey have started Ministry 413 Foundation in view of this call to help families raise funds as they pursue this call. They invite you to join them in this mission to share Christ’s love and build His church.
